Florida College:  Options for Mental Health Services (TELEHEALTH)

Florida College offers 5 free, confidential counseling visits to all students who are currently enrolled at FC. If you need to see a counselor beyond 5 visits, you will be responsible for payment to the counselor. All referred counselors offer a variety of confidential counseling services for personal, emotional, social, and mental health concerns students may face. Referred counselors are not employed by Florida College but are recommended options for services.

**IMPORTANT NOTES**:

  • Whichever option you choose, please be sure you note you are a Florida College student when making an appointment. If you do not signify that you are an FC student, the specialist or his/her assistant will likely inform you that their caseload is full. This also helps with billing purposes.
  • Though all counseling services are confidential, your name will only be used for the FC Business Office to track services for compensation.
  • You, the FC student, assume responsibility in making an appointment with the counselor you choose.
  • Cancelled appointments - Each counselor will have his/her own policy in regard to cancelled appointments. Please understand that each counselor runs his/her own business. If you have to cancel your appointment, you are responsible for cancellation fees.
